Wow...I am so confused.

Hey everybody. I just finished my 305 swap in my 86 Ranger...yes its a Chevy 305 (I'm sorry)...anyway. I did it in about a month and a half becuase I was bored of my 4.0L. its runs like a top, is really quick, and I absolutly love it. Now...my headlights worked for about a week after along with my taillights and my brake lights. Now my headlights don't work, my brake lights don't work, my night time taillights don't work...but my signals and 4 ways do. I've tried everything, fuses, I redid the wiring to the lights, checked for bad ground. Please any ideas. When its light out in the morning I'm gonna change the light switch in the cab. Please, I just need some ideas of what it might be. I'm starting to think its just the Ford gods killing me about the 305. LOL

Well, they won't punish you like that...they'll just send a hoard of faster fords after you with 5.0's...lol!

I think the only thing you haven't done from what you posted is the switch in the cab...

Your sig must be referring to the 86...my 88 just turned 20 so I think I'm in the same boat...yahoooo!

yeah true beans. the Etest is a pain and there are so many options after you have an old car that you can do to it. I love Ontario!
