hey guys i have 87 bronco 2 5spd would a 89-90 bronco 2 body lift fit like would the steering link work and do i need the shifter extension

Hm. Use locktite on the steering extension. Get a friend to help finagle the radiator around. Fun to do with a couple beers around. It's straightforward, man.

Keep a close eye on your fuel filler/breather lines, disconnect your battery, ( the power cable may not reach after lifted), disconnect brake lines from clips including E-brake (you may have to relocate or fab a bracket for it), disconnect your ground wires from your frame and fire wall, disconnect your radiator and shroud, (you will most likely have to fad brackets to relocate them as well.)

When you lift the body, lift very slowly and listen close for ugly sounds.

Have fun with it bud. Body lifts make things easier to work on too.

Disconnecr the battery cable going to your starter also. I ripped my solenoid off the fender well on my lift. Some of your gounds may not be long enough but a quick trip to the parts store will fix that. Have fun

You don't need the shifter extension, unless for some reason an M5OD was swapped in.

alright thanks guys i was thinkin about doin this for a while now and since it goin to hit 60 outside this weekend i figure goin to do it

Cool man. If you need any tech support when your doing it, PM me, and I'll give you my number. This stuff is fun for me.

You will be fine. If you have a 1/2" impact gun for the body bolts, it will go a LOT faster. Two people is also a big time saver.

well guys woke up this morning my dad told me the red bronco II gas gauge dont work now so i had to drop the tank and replace the sendin unit luckly that fixed it now on to the blue bronco II im goin to finish takin the heads off then puttin the 3inch body lift on it
