yeah, i messed with it for a minute on mine and it wasnt budging. then i had the light bulb go on and i just started cutting.

the driver side bracket is riveted in so that'll be fun for you. i used a mix of a sawzall, the grinder and i a BFH and punch. didnt take too long

i used a torch to get the rivets out of the pivot brackets

That would work but i currently do not have a torch...my tool selection is very limited at the moment.

that's how i'm gonna remove my d35 from my parts explorer lol. its in a field, so i don't have air tools down there.... i don't need the brackets anyways.... torch is portable.... so why not?!?! lol

air tools? torches? hell i just did a complete overhaul on mine starting with the frame and motor.as.the only original pieces without anything but a 4 1/2" grinder and a shitty stick welder... i feel ur pain

more power to you.. my dad is a mechanic so i grew up w/ air tools.. and we don't work w/out them usually.

For the brackets that are riveted in I just ground all the heads off and then smacked the bracket with a BFH. Way easier then trying to drive them out or drill them out. Also the radius arm bolts on the beams needed a lot of heat on mine to free them up! Good luck dude!

IT'S OUT! had trouble on the radius arm bolts...thats about it...had some help dragging the axle out... uh yeah, pics GO

i used $4 worth of cinder blocks and $5 worth of 2x4's cut into 1 foot pieces. worked great and much cheaper than jack stands

yeah...i wish i had some wood laying around but i didn't... but yeah i do need taller ones.
