wont idle after starting sometimes when hot

When the motor is hot ill go to start it and it will turn over, fire but then it the idle will drop drasticly (like 500) chug..... chug..... chug.........chug then die, and stomping on the gas does nothing lol
then ill try again and it wont fire at all. So now i wait about 10 min and go to start it and it fires right up like nothing is wrong and im on my merry way.
WTF???
Someone told me i could be the EGR valve stuck open/full of carbon or the PCV valve
i dont know

It could be one of those valves or you could have fuel in the vacuum lines that needs time to drain after you shut the engine off. Any CELs?

no there is no CEL...

how is fuel geting onto the vacum lines if that is the issue??

I had something similar happen twice on my truck.

3 hour drive, back the boat into the garage, shut the truck off, unload the bed, restart, it runs crappy (500rpm), shut it off restart and its fine (I can restart immediately)

My truck only has 18000km ~11000mi and like you there is no cel, it's only done this twice though and only under the described conditions.
