wonky gauges

[Fast Fords]

on my way to do some shopping today, on a 45 min drive, my oil pressure gauge took a noticable climb (albeit small) and started bouncing slightly. That and my temperature gauge also climbed, and were both holding the same rhythm, and what seemed to be the same angle. my battery gauge dropped slightly as well. got to my destination, checked coolant (visual) and oil level, all good, exactly where it was suppossed to be. Any suggestions??

Might want to check battery, alternator, and connections. I was driving my dad's F-150 after a day of snowboarding last year and i was almost home and the gauges started wigging out like your describing for a little bit, but afterwords the gauges just dropped altogether, and I lost the lights. I payed for a new alternator, even though it wasnt my doing. It had 150,XXX on both the alternator and battery.

ha i wonder if that would be. I had my battery light come on, when its cold out (-15 celcius or below), when i first start out in the morning. I would hit about 2500 or 3000 rpm an the light would come on. When i shifted, the light went out. weird electrical stuff lol
