wisconsin/illinois meet 5

Of course, looking at the flyer, my Exploder would stick out like a sore thumb compared to the pretty rides of most others! lol.

Nah, I'll get my buddy to drive my exploder. Then yours will have a slightly lower, dirty, half rusted out twin.

:icon_cheers:

Not put a dampener on drinking but it's not allowed in the park! Don't know when they started that, I remember having a keg there many times. Also remember almost getting kicked out for driving up the dirt side of the dam.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i have talked to dave and the managers of buffalo wild wings. there are three problems that have come to my attention.

1. bww does not have the ample parking to fit all of us there and will not reserve parking nor will they reserve seating for us. strictly first come first served. this could be a seriously long wait to get everyone seated let alone get everyone together.

2. the rock cut state park has informed dave that all of the areas are reserved already. this is a problem because it has slipped a few of our minds that this weekend is memorial day weekend.

3. last but not least there is a lot of construction going on the I-39 corridor. with that in mind anyone taking this route, (anyone east of rockford) this could be a potental lenghty drive.

i know that most of you are going and that is totally cool. please post up pics and let us know how it went and/or what got planned. i would like to get some ideas for a date, places to meet a bit later in the year that is not a holiday weekend and also that i, and anyone else who pitches in the help can prepare the meet so that it runs as smooth as the madison meet last year.
sorry for the last minute on the info. i posted as soon as i found out.

That actually works out well for me because I accidently planned tomorrow as the day to install the new floor in my bedroom. I got help lined up and everything. So it's a good thing that it is going to be rescheduled.

a lot of people are not going to make it for one reason or another. i have now since created a page dedicated to the meets. makes it easier to keep track between the three sites.

keep looking for updates and what not.

anyone go? anyone get pics?
