Wanted Wiring Harness along frame rail, complete end to end - 1994 Ranger XLT 2.3 manual 2WD

Interesting request and I wish you the best of luck.

However, if someone has one, it will be the same age as what you have. So, are you really gaining anything? You may be better off making your own. You can pick up some trailer wiring cable to make some of it easier. Since most of what is in that harness is your rear lights. This could be ideal. The other major wiring in that harness is for your fuel pump and tank level sending unit. You could buy another short piece of cable for that. Then you can keep everything color coded to reduce confusion.

Here are a couple possible ideas. First one is 7-wire trailer cable from Amazon.

Thanks,

I could, or I could pull mine and get the meter out to check if I had pinouts, etc. Mine came with an extra wire to the L tail-light which *may* have caused a short somewhere.

My headlights and front marker lights and dash will light IF the headlight switch is in "THE CORRECT" Position, within about 0.5 to 1.0 mm of the switch's travel. All other exterior lights are out.

I think 94-95 would be good. Maybe 93 and part of 96? I wish I knew the correct parts that will interchange.

It is possible the short is somewhere else though.

Mike

I have a 93 2.3 manual I'm scrapping out within the next 2 months. I don't know how much time it would take to pull or how good of shape its in. A good enough offer gets top priority, remembering shipping from canada. But the exchange rate is in your favor.
