Hi, I recently replaced both my heads on my 87 2.9 ranger, and I'm still in the process of putting everything back together and I've ran into a problem with what I assume are two sensor wires. The first one is a sold green wire, and the second one is a yellow wire with a red stripe. Hopefully the pictures show enough of where the wires can be found, if not I can post different shots of each. Any help is appreciated, pictures help a lot.
More information on the engine: 4x4, manual trans, no A/C.

Single wire would be for SENDERs not sensors, sensors are 2 wire or more, they don't rely on engine grounds.

Oil Pressure sender and Engine temp sender are the only two I can think of, if these wires are grounded the associated gauge should go up.

Starter relay can also have a connector like that, it goes on the smaller "S" post, this wire will have 12volts only when key is turned to START.

Well you were dead right on it being the oil sender, although that still leaves the green wire and I already have the wire plugged in for the water temp sender.

That green one isn't a wire. It's a vacuum line. Goes on the EGR valve.
