I still can't find a diagram for that year. But I will tell you most wiper motors have a key on power wire that goes directly to the wiper motor, not through the wiper switch. The wiper switch does get another key on power wire, but that wire just starts the motor working, and carries it through the parking area of the motor park cam switch. The key on power going directly to the motor is what really runs the motor through 90% of it's travel. That is so when you turn the switch to off, the wiper motor will still run till it gets to the parking area where it will stop if the switch is off.
I will warn you, do your testing with the wipers installed and rubbing the windshield. If you test it with no load on the wiper motor, the motor will have a tendency to "coast through" the parking area and once it does that, it will keep on running and never stop.
