First time in my life we got 10" of snow. Somehow I thought it would be ATV fun, got the ATV out and pushing snow everywhere riding on the skid plate, this is no fun.

Only if I had a full sized ATV with 4x4, man it's bad out there, and WTF we seen the snow plow go by after the first snow, but it snowed the next day and he still has not cleaned off the road.

(edit: just made the first pass by, driving the grader this time!)

My parents talk of 5-10 foot drifts not being unheard of when they were growing up, staying home from school and watching the road grader get a running start at drifts, spin out back up and repeat to clear the roads.

When I was a kid, snows a couple feet were the norm, I remember going threw drifts waist deep (2-3 feet)

Now we get a couple inches here and there and a lot of sleet/freezing rain.


My Ranger earlier this winter. I chisled out the F-150 and let the Ranger sit until it melted.

if i was not so lazy i would go get pictures of the mounds of snow on most of the tree lawns around here. the mounds range from 3 feet to 6 or 7 feet. we went 14 or 15 days straight with snow every day from around the 5th of jan. till around the 20th. earlier they were saying we have had 40 inches of snow in the month of jan. the record is 42. in the past 24 hrs we got between 10 and 12 inches.

yesterday here we got about 10in's of snow and kept goin into the night and stoped about 2 am. with a total about 12 to 13 inches of snow and it takes me about 1:30 to plow my driveway and it sucks
