Will these wheels and tires fit on a standard Ford Ranger

I rather like these old school billet wheels for about $150 ea. Then again, I'm strictly old school when it comes to taste.
Those wheels look good, especially on black

Just in case someone asks... those wheels will not fit over locking hubs.
These came from a 2002 ranger edge xlt 4x4

Here they are on a XLT 4x4 "Edge"

{ I don't know if it's a real Edge, no fender flares or Decal }

I thought edge was a 2x4 package?

Same here, but I've seen 4wd Rangers with "Edge" decals.

I thought it was like a "Pre-Runner" package the Toyota does. 2wd that looks like a 4wd.

Exactly what i thought

No, the Edge was available with 4x4 too but always had the color-matched flares (except on the flaresides) and grille. I know, confusing. I used to think it was more or less equivalent to the Toyota Prerunner package, but it wasn't just a factory lifted 2wd package even if that may be how most of them were sold.

That sure looks like an Edge. It's got the lift. It also has a slightly different hood design, made from fiberglass, and has something of a bulge which can barely be seen in this foto. A friend, who worked at the Ranger plant here in Saint Paul, told me that they never put fender flares on flair sides. BTW I put them on mine anyway. It helps to reduce the mud sling, especially if you have larger tires.

I didn't think Edge's had any Chrome.
Looks like a "Sport" to me. I have an EDGE too. Mine has the flares ( not flare side bed), plastic bed rail guards (?) monochromatic bumpers and honeycomb grill.

Perhaps you are right. Sometimes the ranger product line gets me confused.

Will they not fit over locking hubs? I know you'd have to punch out the Ford logo center caps, but they're just pressed in.

As they are post '98, they would have 2.83" centre bore on axle side, 5 x 4.5 pattern and 6mm offset. As they are 16", they'd bolt onto anything from '83 to '11. They might be a little large for gen I/II truck but they should be fine for gen III, IV & V (as defined by therangerstation).

They'd also fit Bronco II, Explorer '90 to 01 4dr, thru '03 Sport and thru '05 Sport Tracs. Jeep Cherokees could run them too.

Mine would not fit on my 94 with locking hubs.

Even punching out the logo... the bore for the logo is considerably smaller then the hub.

It's definitely not, it's an XLT 4x4. The dealer just did the typical lazy dealer thing (seriously, ask me how I feel about dealers and the baffling fact that people still tolerate them in 2022) and put every trim level available in the heading. The salesperson probably made some extra commission telling someone it was an "ultra-rare" special order that was optioned out with every trim package. 🙄

Perhaps the Ford execs have something to do with this. The Edge and the XLT Sport are very similar, perhaps even too similar. And come to thing about it, that flareside bed was first sold as a Splash. Maybe this explains why the word "Edge" was dropped from the pickup line and later used on another entirely different vehicle.

I would say the "Edge" package is an 'appearance' package. Mine is a base Single cab XL, vinyl floors, manual window, black toe hooks, 5 spd, No thrills, No frills 3.0. Oxford white with color matched bumpers and the honeycomb grill is black.

That Ranger in the picture has "all" the Edge stuff, but not color matched bumpers to the truck and that honeycomb grill is gray, not black. To me, that's the difference in "Sport" vs "Edge"
