Or am I dreaming looking for a "ford made a few...." kind of vehicle.

I was guna run 32's with the 4.10 s if I could find them until I do a d44 swap in future.

They're very rare. You'll only fine one in a 90-92 4cyl 4x4.

Some select 2.9s of those same years got them too, but they definitely are not common.

"unless you can poop unicorns.. you probably won't find one"
quote from someone on here, maybe it was a different forum... doesn't matter... point is, they are rare... which turned out to be a good thing for me b/c it made me do 4.56's and I love them..

Never know til ya look. I picked up a camburg 5.5 travel kit in a junkyard. it was amazing.

Im trying to figure out what I wana do and I want run test my truck with 32's. Can I swap the third member from any other axles? Im trying to figure out my options here and when I do searches I find conflicting info alot if times.

I pulled mine out of a 2.9 auto. I have seen a few more since then too. If your patient you can find some.

the search for 4.10 D35 pigs is why I open the driver door of every 1990-92 4x4
and read tha axle code.

it is my #1 search object when walking the junkyards.

I know of 3 at the same yard...4.0 towing package gen 1 explorers.

The 4.10 gears were never sold in Gen1 explorers.

The AXLE CODE "91" is for 3.27 gears.

Pull them and physically check the gears and I'll bet you'll be disappointed.

When 4.10 gears WERE sold in exporers the rear axles had Discs and the front end is supported by torsion bars. That is to say 1995-up (Gen2)

Door jam says D2. They are not normal expo's however...I probably should have specified the were cop trucks.
