Will 3rd gen fender flares fit my 83?

No, I dont believe so. The 3rd gen front fender stops above the bumper cover, so without adding material it would be too short. The rear may "fit" but it won't be a bolt on. You could use a heat gun to mold the arch, but it won't look as good as the ones made for the truck.
