Will 2000 4.0 fit in '94 (4.0)

I'm looking for a new 4.0 and as far as I can tell a 2000 is the same engine. I found one with 67,000 for $700. Will I run into any problems swapping in the newer engine? i.e. Do I need the donor engine wiring harness and can I use the donor A/C (mine doesn't work right now).

I would think so but not sure... you can try car-part.com to search for engines, or even find out if they are compatible. Do the search, it will only look for years that are interchangeable.
