I crossed over to the Jeep family. Went from a 85 BII to a 90YJ. I been having fun ever since.
90 sStill had the carb, so I upgraded to a Motorcraft 2150. Did away with the computer (Nutter) and just running off of the Duraspark box. Did the coil, cap and wire upgrade (TFI) like you would do on the Ranger/Bronco 2.8.
Swap the Dana 35 for a Ford 8.8 LSD (pack tight) 4.11 gears. Dana 30 up front.
During the summer I with a safari top and love the open feeling.
My other son went from a Ranger to a 87 YJ.

I like jeeps. but im a ford guy. these things look cool and are fun, but man are they built cheap, and poorly designed. but i still like em..... just not as much as fords.
