Wierd thump... & Out of Ideas.

I pulled out my shaft, lubed it up and stuck it back in. I have allready notice quite a big difference.
I cut one of the bands on the boot to get the shaft apart, I didnt know the were re-usable. I guess now I need to buy another clamp & the tool for it. Sure am glad I tried this before throwing money at other parts!!
Thanks for the help.

where do I find/buy those crimp connectors & the tool for the bands on the driveshaft boot?

You can buy the clamps and the tool from most advance, checker, orielly's they sell them. You can also get the kind you put on like a zip tie and than crimp it with a screw driver and a hammer, dorman makes these thats the easiest way. dont use traditional style hose clamps, will prob vibrate.
