97 4.6........here's the situation, key off battery reads 11.7, key on drops to 8volts and rapidly drops off, running volts read 8. alt reads 6 volts when running., (i read the voltage from the red wire to the alt, almost impossibe to get at the test point on back of alt because of how it's mounted) then truck dies. Changed the alt and battery. changed the 175a mega fuse. cluster bulbs are burnt out and guages sometimes works, voltmeter guage reflects battery drain. dome light sometimes goes out quick with door closed. ground connections are good. metered the wires and they check good. little 20a fuse under megafuses good as well........any thoughts, i'm stumped. oh yeah it also has a command start. turning the valet switch off to disconnect remote start doesn't change anything.......thanks in advance, i also went through all the forums and didn't find anything to help out
