thanks....it keeps the bills paid.once i can get back to my own stuff,there will be lots of fiberglass work on the shorty explorer too,for the top and tonneau.

..............well,still not done,but almost there.the electronics are all at turn-on stage,the glass is all in,just some loose ends to tie up before i can send it out......but theres still a stage two to come later.he still wants the whole boat re gel-coated,that will have to wait for winter time.

the 14" display is pretty cool,get's inputs from the gps,radar,sounder,internal charts,and ties into the 9" display in the back wall of the wheelhouse.both displays can be used at the same time to display different functions,so it's very versatile.

from the front,you get a good view of the new radar and remote spotlights.the top fit pretty good,which made me happy as it was built from measurements....i didn't have the actual boat here till it was ready to go on.spent a lot of time wondering if i would need to cut it up to get it on.

thank you,sir!i just want this thing out of my hair,but i can't rush anything.i'm hoping to be able to send it out monday to get some water under the hull for a while till it comes back,and i see a short camping trip in my futurei've had to re-prioritise all my projects because of this thing,putting many things that were supposed to happen this summer off till next summer...i'd better get on with it,i'm running out of summers fast.not getting any younger,you know

i've had a combination of circumstances that led to my abilities....being broke,and wanting cool stuff.i could never afford to get others to do anything,and whenever i did pay someone else to do something,it wasn't exactly what i wanted.so i just learned to do everything myself.spent my money on tools and materials.and destroyed a lot of perfectly good vehicles in the process.now,i'm still broke,but i have some cool stuff....and i'm still learning.
