Why isn't this on this forum?!

Ford used the C.R.Laurence roll down rear window in the Bigfoot cruiser Rangers in the mid 80’s.

@PlumCrazy has one on one of his Rangers. I'd like to see someone document installing one.

It's zip strip like our rig windows and old windshields

I have the tools somewhere

When I say rig I mean oil field houses and equipment.

Ill have to round up the pictures from before, during, and after install. I bought new latches from them a year two back.....they take FOREVER to reply to messages and even longer to actually ship anything. The customer service at Breezer was terrible from start to finish.

That’s cool

One of the guys at the trailride at Sparkz place years ago had one. I still remembering it slide down in the middle of the ride and being very confused. Had never seen a power sliding rear window before or since.

So wait, can it roll down AND pop open?

I wish trucks still had them small windows that popped open for smokers. I'm sure they have a fancy name.

It does not roll down, the glass is removable. Originally they had sling/bag behind the seat to store the window in. I typically just leave it at home if I know its not going to rain

wing windows/ vent windows. most of those were gone by the 90s. I wish we still had them too, but they are not aerodynamic, and any point to lower fuel consumption....

There's a guy on the Nissan forum I visit, and he put a Pathfinder rolldown rear window in his HardBody. pretty neat. Lots of fab work though.
