Whoops, I guess I'll start a build and or rebuild thread

Nice truck dude... So when are you boosting the hell out of it... This duratec is all what it's waiting for... And forget about the sn95 brake conversion, just go with an 95-99 expo 8.8 rear with lsd and disc brakes and be done with it. Really like the style of your truck... And again... why run 315 if your not boosted? I hear the truck callinn '' HX35 me please!''

Seriously looks good nice work!

Nice score on the parts. But sucks to have heard how you got them.

Bumper

I am a proud owner of 2001 single cab that was a 3.0 w/5speed and 251,000 miles on her before I decided to give her a new heart. There is now a new 5.0 with an auto in her and is still my daily driver, fuel injected with A/C, heat and cruise all from a donated 2001 Explorer. I'm getting ready to give her a face lift on the outside as well. It has the cobra "R" 18x9's up front and 18x10.5's out back, billet grill and a 1"&2" DJM drop on it, I live in south Louisiana and would love to set it lower but the roads here are horrible. It runs and drives like it rolled off the showroom floor the day I bought it new. What I'd love to know is if you can give me any info as far as part numbers and all parts that you used to install the 08 front bumper (brackets, upper and lower covers, and inner supports) or where you may have located a used one or new take-off, I have priced a few places and they are outrageous on the prices. Any info you could pass on would be greatly appreciated. And keep up the good work. Yours looks amazing!!!

I love this freaking truck. It looks awesome man. Awesome pics too. Keep up the good work!

Thank you

Just wanted to say thank you for all the information in your thread. Got a little more body work to do and need to have the frame horn straightened to get the bumper to mount properly. Paint next spring...99 frt rgt.jpg
