I've seen a few done like that and at least one in person. Different products have different textures, so if you went with a smoother one it may look a bit better. Be sure to prep the surface like crazy though, I did it quick on my old '88 and the Herculiner was easy to scrape off in a few spots.

badmts, how well does that hold up on the trail? is it difficult to get mud out of/ wash? and how did you have it done, it looks really good!
