hey everyone my name is Brandon I have lived here in new mexico my whole life. long story short I joined the ranger station a long time ago known as big red ranger then 1lonlyranger but do to life and awesome super fun computer problems I had to stop loggin in as those. well im glad to be back and hope to continue to post on this name.

Hey guys; Not been on here in a long time I am in Portales .

Here on the NW side of ABQ by Unser and Paseo. Just got my truck two days ago. Gonna be a bit before its running well enough to meet up but hopefully soon.

[88 Ranger ABQ]

I am in ABQ also. Just bought an 88 2.3L Ranger, 5 speed. It was running pretty well when I bought it, then died while I was heading up Paseo. Replaced alternator, starter, and starter relay/solenoid and she was alive again, but died again last night. It seems to be an issue with the fuel system, or perhaps the EGR.

It's 2wd so I won't be wheeling, but would love any local advice as I am new to Rangers, and new to working on cars in general. I knew it would take work, but I may have bought a bigger project than I realized. Glad to be a part of the community.
