Found the world's dimmest stick bug camouflaged into a house I was working on today lol. Didn't want to stay on my hand for a picture.

Never seen one before, super neat.

Speaking of modern cellphone cameras, these were taken with an iPhone 8. I did nothing special, no filter or editing.

The second one is the better one. Look at that detail. It caught the creases in the petals, and it caught the water droplets.

My phone camera is actually a better camera than my big camera. Mind you, I bought the big camera in 2009.

I took this riding home from my bike group ride. Its 8pm and about 70 degrees here in corpus christi texas in this picture. I have to ride over the bridge to get to the peninsula i live on. Somekbe is fishing on that little spot of land out in the bay

It's not beautiful, but...
The power went off at about 3:30 AM and it's still off. The power company expects multiple days to get it back on. The generator is running so we have heat, some lights, water and were able to have a hot breakfast. The freezer temp is coming back down so hopefully everything frozen will survive. Here's a couple pictures of the wet, sticky snow making the trees sag, no doubt the cause of the widespread outages.
No, the snow is not beautiful.

Looks beautiful from here.

Hope your power is restored sooner than expected.

About 7PM. I'm glad I have a generator but I was awful sick of listening to it. Shoveling and plowing 12-14" of wet heavy snow wasn't a lot of fun either.
Old guys are supposed to complain, I'm just doing my share.
