Who else hates rust?

Yes, rust is the mortal enemy of rangers. I can believe that after 20 + years of salt exposure some cancer is on all our beloved trucks. However, it's suprising that some newer, low mileage trucks like my 98' are already experencing some serious symptoms. Just yesterday, my front right brake line ruptured. No biggie. I replaced it today and while bleeding the system the long line to the rear also ruptured. Both due to rust. I'm gonna empty a few cans of PB Blaster under the truck to slow the spread.

This is 23 WI winters and then my shackles lol.

Basically looks like how mine did. The shackle buckled, the hanger wouldn't have been far behind though. That bushing was terrible to remove, and getting the new one in was even worse. I thought about taking the leaf spring off that side then realized the front leaf bolt was gonna be just the same hell.
