Another thing about the Claymore mine I learned about years ago while I was a Special OPs combat diver.....

The controlled detonation can be accomplished by use of either an electrical or nonelectrical firing system. I have used them under water many times.

Did you also know that the explosive used in them (C4, IIRC) can be lit with a match and used to warm your rations in the field? lol...

your right about OEM, those chinese made claymores are really unreliable.

Better to have them not go off than to go off on their own though.

I never had warm rations before. That would ruin the taste of my scrambled egg whites and stale bread in a can....lol By the way...you should try to eat under water at 90+ feet hiding from enemy patrol boats...lol
