which way does oil hole in lifter face?

towards the valley? or towards the head?
I guessing it faces the valley as that puts the hole higher up in the bore, sort of because of the angle.


that's the oil input for the lifter??

in which case it should be lower.
either way it's the same distance from the top of the bore.

they were not all the same (or I mixed them up) :dntknw:

they're still in the same holes, I took them out 1 at a time for inspection.

It doesn't matter as long as the roller is properly aligned with the lobe.
