Which Fuel Filter?

I have an `03, 4.0 Ranger and I want to change the fuel filter but it looks like there are two different one to choose from. When I check on the Autozone or RockAuto website they show a filter for a .31" outlet and one for a .37" outlet. Is there a way to know which one I need with out removing the filter first?

Buy both, return the one that doesn't fit.

Most AP stores will go along with that plan, at least the ones I go to.

get the fram or mc one i bet those are correct. I don't understand the acdelco ones

I went to pepboys and got mine. it was a purolator and they only had one size for my truck.
