I'm installing a winch for someone on their 2wd Polaris and the kit (used) is missing the switch for it and i can't seem to find one. the part number is 87-30079 and 87-22567 and i was told by an ebay dealer for superwinch that it is discontinued and replaced with part number 2233b. When i saw the price for 2233b i about crapped myself. any ideas where i should look besides ebay for a used one? and the winch is a T1500 superwinch

Super winch customer service sucks
I need price on a rocker switch for a ATV200
# 87-30079
Super winch said You will want 2233B and sent me to Summit racing for $60.90 with shipping.
All I need is the switch 87-30079, not the hole set up! Don't need the case,
wires any thing but the switch guts. Parts not the package.
For $10.00 more I can get the winch ,wiring and switch at Amazon.com $70.00
hole thing,
$59.95 + 10.00 shipping and extras from summit for the hole switch package
that I don't need. All I need is the switch 87-30079.
Why put a replacement parts list in the owner's manual if you are not going to supply them? Just
throw every thing out and buy new? Just like every thing in America through it out and get a new one from China.

Well what did they quote you?:dunno:

Just get a 3 way rocker switch from auto zone or something, would that not work?

http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_47961_47961
For $11.00
Should be 4 wire off center momentary on both directions / up down. Put it in a box and cover . Auto zone don't have any thing like it

Well... 4 prongs eh? One prong for power to switch... one prong that reels the winch in, and one prong that lets line out... the 4th prong must be for a ground for the switch?

I honestly don't see how a 3 prong switch wouldn't work.

Autozone, NAPA, O'Reily, whomever, should have a 3-way momentary switch. So unless there is some special purpose behind that 4th prong, one of them should work.

the 4 prongs are because it's a double pole switch, which means you can run 2 completely separate circuits
