just picked up a new cb and one of those magnet mount 24" job im going to put on the roof. question is, where the hell do i run the cable so its not just laying on the floor? its going behind the factory roof rack in front of the hatch. any ideas? i'd like to not have to take all the panels off if i can help it

its a little different because I have a ranger, but regardless; I ran my coax under the frame of my truck, and up through hole in the hole in the floor for the shifter. works perfect.

If you don't want the cable laying out, you're likely gonna have to take some panels off to get it behind there.

Mine goes behind the interior trim a little above the level of where the hatch struts are attached to the body, runs down behind the interior panel, under the carpet along the door sill, and finally up underneath by where the radio is mounted under the dash.

i have a mirror mount antenna, i ran the cable under the dash and through the door seal.

x2, pull some panels man, will look much cleaner. Run it long the top of your interior plastic, down behind the plastic at the a-pillar and out under your dash at the kick panel (assuming you're running your radio at the dash...)

i pulled the panels, was a real pita to do, but its nice and clean

I have mine cb mounted in between the sun visors and ran the cable along the top had to pull 3 panels and only see the cable were it comes out near the tire carrier onthe back it only took about 25-30 min to do

mine is run along the roof line under the panels. theres only like 5 or 6 screws that hold the panels from the hatch to the a pillar. if thats too much of a hassle for a clean look then your just gettin lazy.

mine runs under the seat and on the floor and up the back window, not the cleanest way to do it but it really doesnt bother me enough to fix it haha
