Okay, got a set of gauges for Christmas and I cannot find the oil pressure sending unit on this thing for the life of me, the manual only tells where to find it on the 2.3L, the 2.9L and 4.0L.

It is an electric meter because the last time I used a mechanical gauge the tube came off behind the dash and sprayed oil everywhere..........

Also, is there a way to use the aftermarket gauges and the factory gauges in the instrument cluster????

Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

IIRC it's below the fuel pump on the drivers side. It looks like the pic below and it screws straight into the block.

mine has an adadpter which screws into the block, then the sending unit screws in the adapter from the bottom.iirc it is a pita to get to.

well I have an eclectic fuel pump on this rig so it might not be that hard to get to.....is it possible to Tee off of that sensor and use both the factory gauge and the aftermarket gauge?

Same question goes for the temp sender on the water neck.

edit: That is an electric pump that I have....

the oil sender is pressure sensings so yes a "t" will work.the water temp sensor will work if you can keep it imersed in the coolant enough to sense actual temp.
