Did you see an image of letters that you had to type in to a box for verification as part of the registration process?

The forum won't let me log out to try and register to check.

We're having problems with spam and I don't know if the image verification is working. I don't understand how these things are registering themselves.

You should install the NoSpam plugin, I had a similar problem with my site, and the plugin really helped!

This plugin allows you to add an additional barrier to the registration process, where the user sees one of a randomized list of questions YOU define, and they have to type the correct answer into a text box. Spambots have been improving their OCR capabilities over the past several years, so an image captcha alone just doesn’t cut it anymore.
