When it rains you come up with "PLAN B2"

Thanks for the encourageing words...as for now i gotta make what i have work with few modifications,,,,

and ill search more on the dipstick thing...broke my timing cover that had it attached...now i no longer can use that one...lol..WOOPS.....

And i appoligies to anyone if i came off wrong i just felt like i was getting the wrong end of what everyone had to say...was sort of frustrating me...

So forget about it...

BACK TO THE B2....

you really should look at getting another engine

nah just messing, lol

:D Now don't go and get him started on swapping in a chebby.........................:icon_rofl:

nope, i wouldnt do that. you know me better than that baddad. :icon_twisted:

but i could see a nice rat 472 stroker in that thing :icon_surprised:

Thanks Guys yah basically getting it the way it is is more or less a plan that im trying to finish up with....I am CUREENTLY...building a Roller Motor...Have new pistons, block(needs the machining done), just got the cam in the mail not to long ago...and all my double roller timing chain(all though i might go gear drive). And a new intake, and new carb...(ill be staying carberated)

MY IDEA....HEAR ME OUT ON THIS

I got an unfinshed project....(the motor has ZERO miles on it)

SO FIX IT UP....get the B2 going...drive it around town...suppries a bunch of people with what it has....And sell the engine with a few hundred miles to someone who wants it bad for a different swap....

Then after i pop it out(NOWING IT WORKS AND EVERYTHING WENT WELL IN MY B2)

I buy a set of AFR or someother High Performance aluminum heads for my roller motor im building now...and then put that in....

Ide probably be going from a vehicle that will have 200-225 HP and getting 13-15MPG
to my roller motor that will probably have 350-400HP(ALMOST DOUBLE) and get 18-20MPG....

So.....Its all in my plans....Just gotta start with step #1...and thats...GET THIS BITCH ROLLING...:headbang: :icon_cheers: :icon_hornsup:

GOT alot farther yesterday....I had tore it down to the short block and broken that stud....Now i welded a post hipefully long enogh...if not PLAN B....slap her from the back side....But got the intake on, heads torqued....YAYYYYYYY...Now i gotta figure out what im gonna do for my oil dipstick...maybe tap a line and use an old dipstick i have...MAYBE...kind of hard with the motor already mounted up inside the Rig...Well i guess we shall see....Well for now all i gotta do is mount up my waterpump and then ill be off to mounting my accesories....Shes getting there......

OK...SOOOOOOOO, ITS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I UPDATED...ILL HAVE TO PUT SOME PICTURES UP SOON...

But i have been saving up for a few things...gotta get new parts....

But i got a new edelbrock carb, and new accesory brackets(march industrie serpentine brackets).

So got those on and installed and everything is starting to come together..i figured out what im gonna do for my oil dip stick problem...

Well i have a motor with no dip stick spot, so what i decided is when i get the motor going...which hopefully should be sooner than later. But what my plan is im rebuilding the front end(putting longer extended radius arms on and installing a dana 35) and ill have to tear it all out. so when i do that ill be able to get underneath it and fix the motor alignment problem, and put a completely different oil pan that has a built in oil dip stick spout on it....so hopefully....that will fix my problem untill i can put my roller motor in...(DOWN THE ROAD..working on a limited budget)

Even with the axle out the only way to change the oil pan (even on a stock RBV engine) is to pull the engine, that massive front crossmember is in the way otherwise.
