Just wondering what everyone with the older rangers are doing for wheels? I have steel wheels now and want some alum wheels. Looked at wheels for sale on ebay and craigslist but what do i do about my man locking hubs?

good question I don't have a centercap that'll clear my front hubs.

Not a Ranger but an 86 BII. I put 94 Explorer wheels on it.

Had to cut the center out of the caps to clear the front hubs;

most aftermarket offroad wheels have optional open end center caps for your hubs

If you used factory aluminum wheels off a 4x4 they should have the cut out in the center cap for the hubs. If you are interested, I have the same set of wheels that are pictured on that B2 but mine came frome a 4x4 exploder, so the centers are already cut out, I'll sale the set of 4 with the centers for $75 plus shipping. I'm located near Pittsburgh Pa

Do you have any pictures of yours? I would be very interested in them.

Yea i can take some tomorrow, what is your email tahe way I'll just send them to you.

It's a 98, does that count as an older Ranger?

I sent you some pics of the wheels and center caps. You could also pic them up if you are close to me, I'm near Pittsburgh Pa. If not I can shipp them

How close are you to the airport? I work for an airline that flies in to PIT

From the airport, I'm about and hour south

I am looking at a set of wheels from a 99 explorer. They are 16" and I was wondering if they will fit? I looked at the wheel fitment guide and saw this..."Wheels on a 1998+ 4x4 Ranger will not fit the front of a 1983-1997 4x4 Ranger. The center hole is too small for the locking hub to pass through". Is this the same for the explorer wheels too?

Thanks, David
