Wheel/tire combo for stock '87

Hey guys, just picked up stock '87 ext. cab. Second thing I wanna do after a few minor repairs is upgrade wheels and tires. Planning on Soft 8s and some all terrains. Don't wanna get too radical, no lift or anything, just want to give it a more aggressive/truck stance. Any suggestions for wheel and tire size would be appreciated, pics/examples would be even better.
