wheel spacers

Sweet that's exactly what I needed to know. How often do you need to retorque them if ever?

Different makers say different things. Some say dont use lock-tight and retork after a 100 miles or so then you should be good to go. Others say use lock-tight but then you cant retork because you have broken the lock-tight bond, so in that case your state of tork is a mystery. :dunno:

I am a machinist of 14 years, please heed this advice. Do not use titanium first of all, use aircraft aluminum. Unless your uncle is using a high end Fadal CNC Mill, dont have him make them, a conventional mill just will not cut it. Be smart about this, it's your life on the line, save yourself the headache and look at a set of Spidertrax.

you can get 1-1/4 inch wheel spacers from spidertrax... about 90$ a pair. they say that they are supposed to be for jeeps and toyotas only... but as long as the bolt circle matches you are fine. I have 4 of these on my '04 ranger, it has a 5 on 4.5 pattern... no problems at all. would reccommend them

yea thats what mine are for, a jeep.

The spacer just moves your wheels out and you use the same rims and bolt pattern, an adaptor changes the bolt pattern completley. I dont know why you would want to change bolt patterns though.

well the adapter is still the same as a spacer. just the stud are positioned differently thats all.
and i wanted to change the bolt pattern so i can take the tires/rims off my 79 and bolt up to my b2 without having to buy another set of rims for her

i am doing the same thing, i have rims and tires for a jeep, and want them on my b2. The link you posted of the spacer adaptors for the jeep, im assuming those are the ones you bought? they are the ones im looking at buying. i already msgd the seller, and these have a hub size of 71.6mm for jeeps and ours are 70.6mm for the ranger/b2. so they arnt technically hubcentric for our hubs, but if u are already using them have they givin you any issues?
