I used a rubber deadblow hammer on mine today, a couple of whacks and it went right into place.

Ya seems quite a few people have their axle rebuild down to a small amount of time. Good skill to have. I haven't gotten any furthur than the inner bearings yet, no u-joints or anything like that but I'm sure it'll come sooner or later.

Glad to hear its back together for you. Ive gone through my fair share of those seals...

ya I just did all 3 axle u-joints, inner spindle bearings, all 3 front drive shaft u-joints, and radius arm bushings. Replaced the wheel bearings last year. Im really glad my dad used to be a mechanic and some of my friends are. The fourms help A LOT too.
