wheel adapters

I have a set of wheels and tires I got cheap $100 brand new from son. they are 305/60 16s they are on a 5 on 5 rim the tires are wrangler mtr w kevlar sidewalls. they still have the nubs. I want to put them on my 95 ranger. can I run wheel adapters front and back to accomplish this? or just buy new rims?

either way should work. the adapter will set your tires out the width of the adapter. if you really like the wheels you have, then i'd opt for the adapters with no regrets.

I really looked into running adapters to mount some 5 on 5.5 rims I had laying around. By the time I would have paid to get 4 high quality spacers shipped here , was much easier and about the same $$ to buy the proper wheels, which I did.
