What's with Motorcraft Mercon V ???

Talk to the guy at advanced auto (one of the stores that deal with commercial accounts) or make nice with a guy at a garage and throw him a couple bucks and ask him to order you one of those box of wine style containers of it.
Who needs power steering? Just put in a real manual rack.

A Ford Edge with the factory rack and no fluid is not such a rack.
It is easier to steer my tractor with the cultivator on the front and with a flat front tire and no power steering from the factory than it is to steer the car without fluid.
Thats why I said manual steering rack. Not plug the holes with no fluid. Or any other such thing.
If they dont make one then build one. Dont know what to tell you bud.
