I have a 1994 Ford Ranger XLT 2 wheel drive and there's a guy selling a bush bumper guard from a F150 1998. He says it's compatible with my ranger but i'm not sure. There is also another guy selling a brand new bush guard for 99-05 ranger/F150 and i'm wondering if there is a big difference in frame? could that fit on my truck? Thanks for any info!

Measure the width of the brush guard. Those guys are probably yankin' your chain.

you don't think it would fit a ranger if it fits an F150? i think the F150 is a tiny bit wider but i don't think it's anywhere near 12 inches wider...

Frame wise maybe not. Just measure it, if it's off far enough, it'll be hard to make it fit.

well just looking on the internet, the F150 has a width of 78.4inches and ranger has 68.4 inches so a difference of 9inches. which sounds aweful but if you center it, it's only 4.5inches longer on both sides of the truck which might be ok!

so this bolts to the frame right?

In my eyes, that looks slightly goofy. If all else fails, you can probably cut the brush guard in half and reweld it at a more proportional width. It's not like brush guards are a structural item.

It depends on the vehicle where the brush guard bolts on.
