I would take a serious look at it man... For a truck like that in AK (unless it had a recon title... actually no even with a recon title) would be atleast 8 grand maybe more...!

If you get the one in NH PM me if you're interested in a bench I made that goes over the rear jump seats. My dog used to sit on it. I'm in Nashua and you can have it for free. I used it to get the dog up to window height so she wouldn't puke in the back, that and I could hide stuff under it to keep people from seeing it. It's gray.

I'd say you can't go wrong offering him 4500. As a starting point at least. Seems like a pretty nice rig. Find out if it needs anything or why he's getting rid of it before making any offer. If you are getting a loan for it, make sure there is enough value in it that a bank will loan it. Because of the age, they're more strict on their loans. The longer you hold out, the more likely he'll take a lesser amount. I don't know what the demand is for trucks like that in your neck of the woods. Good luck either way! Hope I helped ya some.

the only things he says it need i posted in my last post. He said hes getting rid of it because he has a car and doesnt really need a truck anymore and he'd rather sell than mess with it to fix the aforementioned items.

I have the money Id pay it straight up to him. Im thinking about using a different email just to toss an offer at him and see what he says. I think $4500 seems low, i was gonna try for $5000-$5500 but if i could get it that cheap itd be pretty sweet. Im sure cash would help but im not really sure if id want to go up there with 6 grand in my pocket. lol

$4500 is a great deal. i doubt he will do it . offer him $5000 use the balljoints ($1,000 at a dealer) as leverage.
