I wouldn't leave my phone number posted on the forum. That should be in PM's. The search engine trawlers can see this. Don't wanna get a lot of spam/scam calls. It could be pretty easy for someone to be convincing considering how much about ourselves we post here.

Here's my thoughts at this point.

I'm sure that @Jim Oaks has a lot on his plate.
However with that said,
Since he is the owner of the website,
if he was willing to
those of us that are willing to help others in need
can give him our phone numbers and our city and state with the permission to allow him to give the number to someone who contacts him needing help.

I have no desire to be the AAA auto club of the Ford Ranger world. I also don't want to be responsible for keeping people's information.

If people have their location in their member profiles, then forum users can do a member search to see who might be in the area and message them:

Or they can just post in the forum that they need help.
