What was your Pick A Part Find Today?

I know what a toast dinner is.... bread dinner must be similar.

Then there is the jam sandwich where one jams two pieces together.

Lets just jam a pork chop in there... ever had a pork chop sandwich?

Oh hell... we're suppose to be talking about junkyard finds...

Maybe Dirtman has found a pork chop in a junkyard.

Do you realize how much junkyard food I typically find??

Look in any E350. Pi*s bottles and tastykake abounds.

I was travelling for work yesterday and found a new junkyard I never knew existed. Probably have driven past it a hundred times - this place is AWESOME. I'm guessing they have a thousand or more cars including a lot of really old ones, muscle cars from the late 60's/early 70's, rows of dent side Fords, rows of square body Chevys, nice body panels everywhere, and I think it's not really a you-pull-it style place so it's not a mess. Owner was super cool too, definitely not your typical junkyard guy.

Anyway I went in looking for a couple of little AC parts for my stepside truck and found a whole bunch of Explorers. One of them was NICE - and I mean NICE. Really a shame that it is there, the odometer said 63k and it would not surprise me if that was actual mileage. Maybe a little old lady blew up her A4LD and dumped it, who knows, but it has the 91/92 blue interior and some super cool options, including a very nice set of factory Explorer rubber floor mats (I have the carpet ones already) and a blue cargo cover!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never seen a cargo cover in a junkyard, let alone a blue one. I also scored a very nice armrest - mine was trashed, the padding has disappeared.

I'm gonna go back when I have more time and snag some body panels for my F150 and more interior parts from that Explorer.
