my first running car 66 f-100 w/ 351c 3spd from a stang or torino(in my garage) paid 1000
first ranger-my 83 rackbody
first road legal vehicle 06 chebby silverado

and my dad used to have a 86 porshe but he sold it. he told me when i was younger that i could have it for a first car but being 10 y/o i said no and wanted a truck. still a bit pissed about it. i could have been cool in school but i never would have gotten any of my trucks probably

Hmmm, 1950 Ford 2 door sedan. Flat head v8, three on the tree. I do miss that old car, but it had weak transmissions and I broke quite a few. Tube AM radio (transistors?). Sure sounded good with glass packs and an old rock screen air cleaner. Paid $90 for it and I drove the heck out of it for my first two years of driving.

Hmmm... i happen to know where there is one sitting. the tranny is out of it and there is no trunk or interior left. im trying to get it and make a rat rod out of it, but im kinda running out of room.

Mine was a 1960 Hillman convertable with a 4-speed manual trans on the column (lol) This car was made in England. My father made me buy it and it was a piece of junk. Should have bought a Ford or Chevy.

I owned a 58 Hillman Husky (very small station wagon) for 9 years. It had a four cylinder flat head engine it and a non-syncro 4 spd transmission (floor shift) in it when I bought it. I converted it to a 59 Hillman OHV four cylinder engine and 4 spd transmission that had syncros for 2nd, 3rd and 4th. I used that car for everything including pulling a trailer, longer than it was, up the mountains to cut firewood along the dirt trails in the forest.

The only problem I ever had with that car was a broken fuel line. After I stabilized it from the engine vibration it never failed me again. I bought it for $100 and sold it for $900 after 9 years of use. I did repaint it and had a Tijuana interior done to it along with the power-train upgrade. The rear bumper was a 4" angle iron with a ball hitch mounted on it.

The first gear was so low I think you could plow with it.

My Ranger! I've been through other vehicles since, sold it and bought it back, but it's my first "car". My husband still her his also-an 82 Firebird.

1985 Honda Civic hatchback with the ugliest faded blue paint that if you leaned on the car it would turn your clothes blue

first car was an 88 Jeep Cherokee go it from the old man. The first car that I had under my name was a 91 Cadillac Seville with a sweet 4.9L V8 pretty big engine compared to my dad's huge 5L F-150

My current Ranger, sat for probably 10 years or so and the breaks caught fire the first time driving it home. I'm happy I got it though, it's been a great truck and will continue to be once the transmission is fixed.

The Good Old Days

Ahh. My first car was a teal 1993 Chevy Cavalier Z24 3.1 V6 3spd auto. I loved that car. I got it from a lady whom I mowed lawns for when I was 15. I had to mow her lawn for the whole summer and she would give me the car as it had belonged to her father who died recently and she had no need for a 2dr car as she had kids. That was fine with me as I had been mowing her lawn for the past year and was riding my bike to her house and had seen the car around and had always liked it. I got my license shortly there after and drove the car all the way though high school. I remember raping my friends Jetta at least once a week on the way to school. That car frigging hauled and was a great car. I put a flowmaster on it and it sounded great. I never had to do much work to it other than wheel bearings and the car gave me my first taste of modding when I installed my JVC CD player all on my own (I was proud of that). I payed my own insurance and basically worked to drive most of the time I was in High School. Those were the good days. When I went off to college I sold the car to my younger brother who blew the motor and trans, but my dad and I helped him rebuild the motor and the trans was rebuilt by a local shop. Now the car is for sale and I will miss it greatly, but I got my Ranger and VW so I am still happy.

my first car: 1966 Impala SS conv. 327 powerglide tranny with a carter AVS carb
(Never driven, rusting in yard):bawling::bawling:

My first drivable car: 1995 3.1 V6 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera
(Blew a head gasket on the highway melted alot of things)
with this thing I did a lot of redneckish modifications to it like ductaping the fender together, installing a CB, trying to take it mudding in an empty field(got farther then my uncle!) had to rig up a way to keep my turn signal off so I used an old spring lol

My second car: 1987 Ford Ranger 2.3L 4 banger
(haven't driven it far yet!):annoyed:
Still working on it and may swap the motor and trans from my first car into this:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

my first truck was a fire engine red 1996 gmc sierra 4x4 single cab short bed. it had the 4.3l vortec with a 5speed manual tranny and a manual transfer case. it had 5 inches of lift and 35 inch bald all terrains... <3 miss her :(

1926 Ford Model-T roadster. Wood spoke wheels. Terrible tires - a 15 mile trip would generate 6 or 8 flats. Couldn't buy new tires during WWII and didn't have any money if tires had been available. No fuel pump - gas was gravity feed. Tank was above the engine, in front of the windshield. On any long steep hill, it would starve out unless you backed up the hill to keep the tank above the carb. No starter of course, had to crank it. Rag top - literally. Kept very little of the weather out.

first truck was an 86 f-150. Ran great until the engine seized 2 weeks ago. Was on 33x12.50's fun while it lasted.

First car: 87 Chrysler Conquest. 5-speed 2.6liter with a turbo.
