This thread is about what complete CD/Album you listen to all the way through!!!!

It also isn't about favorite songs it's about what you last listened to all the way through the disc/tape/whatever

I apologize for participating by posting songs, rather than albums. The fact is, I very very rarely listen to an entire album. I'm too random to do that. the idea is what people listen to THROUGH, everybody listens to songs
and that could quickly degenerate into whatever they heard on the radio last because they were too lazy to change the station...

It's about what you CHOOSE to INTENTIONALLY listen to.

Now While I have "playlists" of organized favorites in different mixes I also (quite often) start an album with the fixed intention of playing the entire thing from track #1 through the hidden tracks (if any)

And there are albums I do this with repeatedly for example:
1) Metallica - "Metallica" (aka "The Black Album")
2) Queensrÿche - "Empire"
3) Rush - "Presto"
4) 3 Doors Down - "3 Doors Down"
5) Disturbed - "Ten Thousand Fists"
6) Evans Blue - "The Pursuit Begins When This Portrayal of Life Ends"
7) The Poor - "Who Cares?"
8) AC/DC - "Highway To Hell"

Just as examples I listen th them letting the whole thing run, because as an entire ALBUM each is in it's own way a masterpiece.

I hate being misunderstood, so I need to clear this up. I'm not covering anything here, no sneaky business. By no means am I confused, I am very well versed in my musical history. But what you feel I am covering was a conversation in which we were talking about drummers, not guitarists. TheTopher and I both enjoy Mike Portnoy's drumming, and he plays for several bands. In this particular piece Portnoy is playing the part that Ringo played.....on the drums. The comments in blue below were on the size of Portnoy's drum kit, which is very small compared to what he usually plays. If you were to listen to it, you would see the comment in red means he put a lot more effort into it than Ringo did.

Allan, I am sorry I assumed your thread was for something other than what you intended. I guess that's what I get for assuming. I'll pick up my toys and go play in my own sand box.

BTW, it is a common misconception that George Harrison played all of the guitar on WMGGW. This is not true, it was Eric Clapton on lead.
