I dont do any offroading with my truck just street driving and take it to truck shows, its a 94 ext. cab 4x4 with early bronco axles under it with skyjacker 6" springs and a 3" body lift i also have a set of bushwacker cut out flares for it that i didnt get on yet i am going to order a pro comp 15x10 wheel with 3- 5/8" backspace i was wondering if anyone has done something similar and could post pics, but i would like to get a 38 or 39 on if possible with no rubbing but im worried about the radius arms they look close....................????

It's hard to guess what diameter will fit with all those mods without seeing a pic, but that's not a lot of backspace for a 10" wheel so I'm thinking it will clear the radius arms okay depending on the width of the tire.

any other input.......................

Yes...trial and error. Put on a few different sizes and see which is the best for your setup. 'nuff said.

ok I'll go out and buy every size tire between a 35 and a 40 and see what the biggest one i can fit without rubbing...............if thats the only way to do it.

didnt have to be saucy about it. but im guessing he meant go to a shop, they usually let you test fit tires to see what will fit

How wide of a tire? What brand of tire? Keeping the same rims or getting some with less backspacing?

Get some pictures on here along with the ACTUAL diameter of the tires you have, and the ones you're looking to get, and then we'll be able to guesstimate it. Don't look at what it says on the sidewall, tires are rarely as large as they claim. AND, every truck sits different.

Or just go test fit some, like Boggin said.

And don't be an Ass, please.

I was hoping someone would have a eb dana 44 under a 3rd gen ranger with a 6" ttb spring and cut out flares, and could reply with what tire and wheel combo they are running, the wheels i have are a factory steel 15x8 wheel for 5x5.5 lug pattern, i didnt measure backspace on them but the least backspace i can get on a 15x10 pro comp aluminum wheel is 3 5/8" im just worried about the tire rubbing the RA's they look close......

i have a 97 regular cab, with a 6 in. suspension and 3in. bl i borrowed my friends brand new 38x14.50x15 tsl sx and mounted it on a 15x10 with 1in. backspacing and it had all sorts of room in front, but on the back it would rub the fender if you hit any sort of bump, oh and i have the flares too, but hate them, they actually didn't cut more than 3/4 in. at any one point out... hope that helps...

I did the same. I will try to post some picture once they are available. :D I am still waiting for it. I like your bushwacker cut out flares, its the same as mine.

the least amount of backspacing i could find is like 3 5/8" , how are you getting 1" backspacing? wheel spacers or something? or is that a typo?

no, its not a typo, i bought them off a guy who had them on a jeep, they're bart racing wheels, and after buying them found out that their stock car wheels, not supposed to be on the road, but mine is a trailer queen anyway and they're heavy as hell... 42lbs. a piece cleaned off!!!

i have a 2004 edge ranger ext. cab. im looking at geting 31x10.50 to fit under it. i do a little off roading and excursions. if i could 32s under it i would. im looking for some inputs POS and NEG welcome.
