What size C clamps for AAL install?

As the title states ..... wanna make sure I buy a couple that will be long enough. Really have no idea what to expect - 6", 8", 12" .....

Anyone please?

I've done it with a 5'', so I'd say a 5-6" clamp would be good cause by the time i had the 5" maxed out i could use my hands to compress the springs enough get the clamp off, and back on.
