what shocks to buy???

Okay im new to this forum but I have been on this site many times and i just signed up this morning, I have a 92 ranger with a mildly modded 3.0L engine, 8.8 rearend new trans but i need new shocks what are some good ones? i was thinking anout those edelbrock ias performer shocks... any ideas?

People here and on other boards have said the Edelbrock shocks don't hold up. I'd suggest Monroe's Sensa Trac or Reflex. The Reflex is stiffer.
FWIW, the NAPA store brand shocks are Sensa Tracs at half the price.

Okay then well im wanting to do a v8 conversion soon in my ranger will the sensa trac be a good option

At that point you'll have to match something up because the factory front end won't hold the extra weight of the V8. So you'll be changing out the springs and shocks for that.
