I need to know what seats are a bolt in app. for my 1994 ex. cab ranger. I dont want to have to mess with the tracks or anything else. Thanks in advance for your replies.
Well, basically any seat you get other than from another ext. cab Ranger or BII won't go far enough ahead to get people back in there. In my experience, a BII, or Explorer bucket will bolt right in place of your old seats. There may be more, but this is all I know for sure. Note that without swapping tracks though, the Explorer seats will not go very far forward if/when you need to get people back there.
/edit: Tracks are an easy swap, though. Four 10mm bolts per seat and you can have any seat mentioned in the tech library...
if you dont want to switch tracks then youre not going to make things easy on yourself. basically most ford seats use a 16" x16" mounting pattern, which allows you to swap tracks easily to retain your original mounting positions. as andres said though, if you ride people in the back then you will be limited in choices because you will need to new seats to tilt forward and slide so you can get in and out of the back easily. http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/Seats.html
other seats will also fit but its up to you to get your tools and tape measure out and head to the junk yard.
