What Pulleys do i need for my 3.0?????

So i wanna get more outta my 3.0 and ive been told that bigger Pulleys will

do just fine, what size or what type of Pulleys should i get i know they have

to be bigger but i dont know what size or if ill need any other

parts...

Search for underdrive pulleys... Make sure they have the correct drive pulley for your alt... I wouldn't spend money on underdrive pulleys though, they really don't free up much power (maybe 5hp)... If you really want more power you pretty much have to dig into the engine, I'd say some 1.7 rockers from a 5.0 would be your best bet for more power...

So 1.7 rockers would get more power, my power is ok for what it is, i have 32" tires and

it runs fine and power is a 3.0 but more power is always better so ill do that and if

anything else i can do..

Well, if you have bigger tires the first thing you should do is re-gear to a better axle ratio, 4.56's would be the first thing that needs to be done...

If you are lucky enough You may be able to pull a Rear Diff from a Ranger in a yunk yard that already comes with those gears for approximately 90.00... I did.

Actually, you want a smaller pulley. Check out stuffforyourranger.com as they will have the parts you're looking for. The improved acceleration in my truck from idle to redline... its not neck snapping power gains but its noticable. This is a very easy and cheap mod that can be installed in an hour. The roller rockers are a great choice but require some mechanical ability. If you can tap a hole without screwing up and are able to adjust the rocker arms to 0.041" preload then go for the rockers. Another cheaper gain can be had by changing out all of your truck's lubricants for a higher end synthetic oil. The engine, trans, and rear end should be changed. This will reduce the loss of power in the drivetrain... much like the underdrive pulley does for your accessories.

Since your truck is two wheel drive, go ahead and swap out for some steeper gearing out back.

went to stuff for your ranger and picked the one for my 06, but they know what belts you need you have to look it up, and order it too, cause the oem wont fit
