Currently, my passenger side brakes look like this,

We all know that they should look like this,

My question, what parts am i needing/missing?

It's been a while since I've done brakes. What I see missing is the 'squeal spring', the piece that when the pad wears down enough, contacts the rotor and squeals with an irritatingly high squeal until you take a sledge-hammer to the truck. Also missing is a manual to help you identify missing parts and the order they are installed.

It is the anti-rattle clip. You can get these at Autozone as a "brake hardware kit", or some of the better pads actually come with them in the box.

I just looked up the hardware kit. It also comes with new sliders, and it's 8 bucks here. The P/N is H5653.

Awesome. Tgank you! I think I also need that black piece as well and I hope I can get it without having ro get new pads since they are new. I can't find anything about though in my books

I didn't really see that black piece before. You are meaning the thin piece with a hole in it, correct? It looks like an anti-rattle/squeal device that is mounted on the back of the pad. If they are lifetime pads, I'd take them back in and get new pads.

EDIT: You may also be able to put a thin coat of RTV on it, and put it back on the pad.

I talked to EBC and they are sending me replacement shims. They said they use fiberglass ones now.

I noticed the Duralast Gold pads we just put on my Brothers Escape were fiberglass/phenolic as well.

Is EBC sending them for free?

EDIT: Just an FYI that the Duralast shims are actually mounted to the pad. I wonder why EBC doesn't do the same?

Yeah they are sending them for free since the pads are less than a year old. Im not sure why they arent mounted to the pad. Would have saved me some problems that way.
